Meet Manny Ocano

I have been a licensed hearing instrument specialist since 2005, have been board certified BC-HIS since 2014, and have worked in an ENT environment for 5+ years, having spent my early career in high tech at Hewlett-Packard, Cisco, and Nokia. I found that transitioning into the hearing aid field has allowed me to blend my passions for customer service, sound quality, and high technology in a way that has led me to define the Gold Standard of fitting and supporting my clients’ rehabilitation and success in wearing a hearing device.

Over my years in the hearing industry, I have been able to satisfy my naturally curious nature by taking roles in many aspects of the business: from distributing hearing aids at Costco, through private practices, several years at the Santa Cruz Ear, Nose, and Throat Clinic to working in a hearing aid start up, Eargo, as the director of clinical studies, where I was awarded a patent for my contribution to the design of a brand–new type of hearing aid.
